Empowering Sustainable Change: Goumbook’s Regenerative Agriculture Initiative in MENAT
Goumbook announced the launch of a transformative journey to develop entrepreneurship skills in the domain of research-based regenerative agriculture solutions called: “Regenerative Agriculture Venture Programme”
The Goumbook Regenerative Agriculture Venture Programme aims to empower and upskill researchers and students addressing agricultural challenges in the MENAT region. It focuses on solutions for hunger, nutrition, climate change mitigation, carbon sequestration, soil health, water scarcity, and more.
Participants will gain skills to drive sustainable change in agriculture, with topics including soil regeneration, diversified crops, organic fertilizers, natural habitats, chemical reduction, watershed protection, and livestock integration.
The program also emphasizes technological solutions like agricultural robotics and smart irrigation. Benefits include upskilling, potential funding, community access, online courses, mentorship, and grants for top finalists. The initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goals, promoting regenerative agriculture as a climate change solution.
