In 2024, Green Mawared proudly joined a global consortium to transform this historic oasis into a model of sustainable development through Ibri Structural Plan project.

A Structural Plan is more than just a blueprint – it’s a comprehensive roadmap that balances growth with preservation. For Ibri, this meant creating a vision where tradition meets innovation, where prosperity and sustainability walk hand in hand.

As specialists in food security strategies and sustainable and regenerative agriculture, Green Mawared was entrusted with designing the agricultural and food security framework for Ibri – a cornerstone of the city’s future resilience.

Our approach centered on five interconnected policies, each addressing critical needs for Ibri’s agricultural transformation.

Together, these policies form an integrated system – where agriculture becomes not just a food source, but a cornerstone of Ibri’s identity as a resilient, green, productive, connected, and distinct city.
